Inviting Early career Physicians (physician who is within 16 years of graduation from medical school and not in training), Residents and Medical Students… participate in the Abstract Competition at the 2nd ACP India Chapter Congress – Medicine 2017 to be held at the J.W. Marriott Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi from August 12-13, 2017.

The Poster / Abstract should be an original research work and the presenter shall be the team member of the research. The poster can be case reports also. ACP’s definition of a case presentation is a report of one or more cases that illustrates a new disease entity, or a prominent or unusual clinical feature of an established disease. It may include a summary of pertinent patient history, physical findings, laboratory data, or management description. We request that the submissions along with complete details of the participant be sent to latest by 10 July, 2017. Notifications will be sent individually by 20 July, 2017 to all those shortlisted to present at the 2nd ACP India Chapter Congress.
Presenters will receive free conference registration and are welcome to attend the scientific sessions. ACP is unable to provide any additional financial assistance and will not be able to reimburse travel expenses.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstract must be typed single-space in English using at least 10 point size font and must fit inside the designated space and should not exceed 450 words or 2000 characters
  • The maximum characters permitted in the title are 100. The abstract will be written in order of Introduction, Material, Observations and Conclusions
  • Authors should be listed by initials and surname
  • Do not include title, names and institutions name in the body of the abstract
  • Name of the presenting author should be in bold
  • Tables and graphs can be included and will be considered as 600 characters each. Photographs/Images/other figures will not be accepted
  • Please proof read the abstract carefully for factual and spelling errors. The spelling of names, the order of authors and institution name will appear in the conference brochure as submitted
  • Standard abbreviations are acceptable. Uncommon abbreviations must be put in parenthesis and proceeded by the full word the first time it appears in the text
  • The presenting author must be a registered delegate for the conference

The top presentation will be recognized with a prize and commemorative plaque and the names will be featured in the ACP India Governor’s Newsletter.
